The most popular episode of the Reparenting podcast is on the inner child. It’s the one I’ve had the most feedback on and the one people seem to come back to again and again. Not heard it yet? Listen below
The most powerful healing work I’ve done for myself is on my own inner child. I’ve gone back to being 7 when my parents divorced, 15 when my teenager was in full rebellion mode and many other times where I needed more tenderness and care than I received in the moment.
This is by far the most powerful work I do with my clients. Taking people back to forgotten moments in their past often makes them feel more free in the present.
Through Reparenting your inner child I’ve seen people reverse life long patterns including
✨ feeling unsatisfied in relationships or having people constantly let you down
✨ putting too much pressure on yourself
✨ struggling with discipline and motivation
✨ feeling disrespected and unworthy
✨ being unable to move forward or comparing yourself to others constantly
These are all learned behaviours. They make us feel safe and protected but are often a symptom of being stuck in our past.
Did you know that your nervous system has a unique imprint from your entire lived experience stored in your body?
We are all a reflection of our past experiences.
But when you connect to your inner child you process stored memories and shift how you feel about yourself in the present. You recalibrate your nervous system to become more self assured, more authentic and more alive.
