What inspires you to nurture yourself?

My own Reparenting journey started in my late 20s after the break up of a long term relationship. Though I didn’t realise at the time I’d spent the previous decade numbing and abusing my body with food, alcohol and substances. Slowly I began to make different choices and nurture myself in a way that I had never been able to before.

  • I took up daily body based practises like yoga.

  • I stopped eating things that hurt my body.

  • I distanced myself from unhealthy relationships.

  • I started therapy.

  • I discovered new friendships where I could speak vulnerably.

  • I began to feel more and love myself more.

When I look back at this version of myself I feel such profound gratitude for taking those first difficult steps.

Becoming my own parent to myself took great courage and wasn’t easy but I am reaping the rewards for it now.

This forms the core of what I do with clients now. Making better choices for themselves so that they can feel resourced and powerful to show up fully in their purpose and create what they are here for in the world.

Sometimes they're still working that out. Sometimes they are further along on the journey but need some deconditioning from old stories and habits set in place long ago.

But each time making that choice to prioritise your own needs puts you back in the driving seat and accelerates the journey. No matter where you are at, Reparenting can help you cross the threshold into your next chapter.
